Pudge is a strong, well-built Golden with the drive to hunt and retrieve wild birds. As a pup, he was lucky enough to have a newly retired owner who had a to-do list of hunting. Pudge spends fall hunting ruffed grouse and woodcock in the northwoods and winter hunting pheasant in North Dakota and Nebraska. Pudge runs hard and pushes through cover to find birds. Naturally, Pudge loves to retrieve, but even more he loves a good chase. 

Pudge is a playful Golden Retriever that lives with Kathryn’s parents. We like to say Pudge seeks positive attention, as he loves to be loved.  Pudge greets everyone with a wagging tail with the hope of finding a new friend. He loves to swim so much that he will often swim a big loop in the lake just for fun. We love that Pudge is always ready to jump in the truck and hit a trail, but he is also ready for the grandkids to show up and play ball. He is Pappa's Perfect Pudge. He is Golden.
